I stayed speechless in front of these posers made by Yves Saint Laurent himself for his friends and clients, this exhibition shows how he could be attentive, generous and very caring towards the people he loves ...

The monument to the memory of the artist...and his final resting...

Knowing that the ashes of Yves Saint Laurent were scattered in his rose garden, right here, I was very touched ... But at the same time, I understood why he wanted it that way ... he is still alive by his rare plants and birds collection ... and each season ... where the roses bloom ... he rises from his ashes...

I have long wanted to visit the Majorelle Garden in Marrakech, and I never had time to do so. I go to Marrakech several times a year and I've never been there!! What a shame!

For those who do not know the Majorelle Garden, it is a botanical garden created by the famous French painter Jacques Majorelle in 1931.
In 1980 it was bought by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé.

Yves Saint-Laurent said: "For many years, I found in the Majorelle garden an inexhaustible source of inspiration and I have often dreamed of colors that are unique"

Back to Marrakesh: Sneak peak

We're back in Marrakesh at the same hotel but for 4 days this time, we did not tire. It was 46 ° C this afternoon and yet there is a lot of people in hotels and even downtown.
This post is a sneak peak of what will come thereafter.

This is a post that I completely forgot to post, more than two weeks. My man and I were invited by my lovely dad to the Italian restaurant "Andiamo" at the Royal Atlas Hotel Agadir, the hotel where he stayed.
You really have to go, the food was delicious, the real Italian food. And the service was impeccable.

Enjoy!!
